Katie joined Campbell & Levine in 2010, after completing a clerkship with the Honorable Maurice B. Cohill, Jr. in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Katie has broad experience representing all parties in commercial insolvency matters, with a distinctive focus on business reorganizations in federal bankruptcy proceedings and state court receiverships. Katie represents debtors, creditors, trustees, and receivers in proceedings, as well as advising businesses in need of financial restructuring in out-of-court workouts.
In addition to her background in insolvency and restructuring, Katie represents clients in litigation matters in federal and state courts. She represents parties in voidable transaction, non-dischargeability, preference, and other insolvency-related litigation, as well as commercial litigation matters. Drawing upon the firm’s unique background in mass tort and insolvency, and her own background in litigation, Katie was appointed to the Plaintiff’s Leadership Development Committee of the Philips Recalled CPAP, B-Level PAP, and Mechanical Ventilators Products Multi-District Litigation in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
Katie is a mediator, and received mediation certification training at The Conflict Lab, which allows her to use her unique background and problem-solving skills to help parties resolve matters outside of litigation.
